HEALING OF OUR LAND

Series: 4th Quarter 2026

October 25, 2026 | Olubunmi Adisa

Topic: Healing of Our Land

Main Scripture: 2 Chronicles 7:14
Recall: This is a conditional promise.

1. Understanding Your Land

A land is any place where a seed is planted and you expect a harvest.

Take a scan of your land. If it is not producing the harvest you expect, you need to ask whether your land is good and producing the harvest you expect.

Psalm 1:3; Genesis 1:11–12

Ask yourself:

- Is your land prospering?
- Is the gift of God deposited in you producing the desired harvest?

The Need for Restoration

- Many lands have become desolate, but God says, “Never again.” — Isaiah 62:4
- Many lands need revival, and God has promised that He will restore them. — 2 Chronicles 7:14
- The devil knows how to play his part in causing us to defile our land.

2 Chronicles 7:11–14

Verse 14 teaches that even if you have made a mistake and God is disciplining you, if you cry out to Him and repent, He will heal your land.

The 4 Requirements for the Healing of Our Land

1. Humble Yourself

- Humility comes from a realization that we have sinned.
- You cannot word unclear before God. Humble yourself.
- Sometimes, the reason answers do not come is because we are not humble, and we slap anything on the plate for God.
- God says, “If I’m your Father, where is my honor?”

2. Pray

Prayer is one of the requirements for the healing of our land.

3. Seek My Face

- You want to receive God’s counsel.
- It is an intentional act to seek His face.
- Tarry in His presence.
- You cannot seek His face without praying, but you can pray without seeking His face.
- Many times, we pray only to ask God for something, not to build a relationship with Him.
- Seek to spend time with Him.
- James 4:3 (KJV)
- There must be more than just praying.

4. Turn from Your Wicked Ways

- Ensure that you turn away from your wicked ways.
